The Governor Livingston Football Squad made it to this year’s state finals, after defeating rival Summit in the match in a close game. Led by quarterback and defensive leader Max Machado the Berkeley Heights Highlands won 32-28 in a hotly contested game in front of a large crowd. The 7-3 Highlanders will take on Caldwell at Giants Stadium for the Group II Championship.
